About Alberta

Alberta Abbuah PMHNP-BC is a dedicated psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who provides companionate, person-centered care that promotes a space for healing. She provides medication management and talk therapy, with culturally competent care and to ensure each patient is seen, heard, and understood. Her experience with providing trauma informed care shows her respectful approach and strong interpersonal skills. She strives to create a safe space where clients can explore their concerns and receive support for their mental health needs. Alberta specializes in treating psychiatric conditions such as, Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, ADHD and Bipolar Disorder. With comprehensive evaluations and personalized treatment plans, she works collaboratively with each client to improve and maintain optimal mental health and wellbeing. Alberta is dedicated to working together with each client to create a safe and supportive environment where treatment plans and personal goals are at the forefront. Outside of work, Alberta enjoys spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys trying new meals, hiking, playing/watching volleyball, watching movies and traveling.
