About Trisha

Serving in New York State, Ms. Trisha Joseph is an adult psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner who provides virtual consultations at Orenda Psychiatry. She holds a master's degree in nursing from the State University of New York, Binghamton. Ms. Joseph specializes in addressing various mental health concerns, including anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder. She offers comprehensive services such as therapy and medication reviews, focusing on a patient-centric approach to effective mental health care. I am also board certified as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with over 18 years treating women with gynecological conditions and pregnancy at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia campus. A vast number of these women suffered from anxiety, depression, and trauma which prompted me to go back to school for psychiatry. I bring to you my strong background in Women’s Health and can manage patients with mental health issues regardless of gender. Some fun facts about me is my passion for hiking , traveling, playing mas in Caribbean carnivals, watching and attending golf tournaments, tennis matches, football, and basketball games.
